Joe joined Emerald in 2021 as the Facility Security Officer and brings significant operations management experience to the team as Emerald continues to grow.

Over his 20-year career, Joe has built an extensive network spanning the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, the Federal government, international partners, system integrators, and leaders in various fields and disciplines.

He has served in multiple roles and disciplines, including emergency services, combat arms, military intelligence, human resources, geospatial intelligence, information operations, software development, and others.

He holds a BA in Geography with a minor in Military Leadership from James Madison University. He enjoys giving back to the veteran community through mentorship, spending time with his family, and hobbies like SCUBA diving, traveling, and genealogy
